Every patient and neuropsychiatric condition is multifactorial or comorbid in nature. A patients genetic, maternal health issues, environmental, developmental, and other disease processes e.g., diabetes or comorbidities can affect brain and behavioral health. CNS Vital Signs VSX assessment platforms enables the clinican to collect a large number of important clinical endpoints in a relative brief assessment that is immediately autoscored, presented in useful clinical dashboards and longitudinal views, helping clinicians better assess and explain the patient’s brain and behavioral status during the clinical encounter.
Each CNS Vital Signs assessment is a reimbursable procedure that adds validity to the evaluation and management of brain and behavioral health. The assessment platform can easily be customized into toolboxes and testing panels that can help the clinician collect a patient registry (standardized documentation) of neurocognitive function and behavioral clinical data.
The VSX assessment platform has 10 default toolboxes or test panels preconfigured for you convenience. However, the 10 toolboxes or test panels can easily be configured to support your clinical or research needs. The default settings are the Neurobehavioral Status which is used as part of the psychiatric diagnostic interview examination or (CPT 90801 adult or 98802 child) or neurobehavioral status examination (CPT 96116). Additionally, pre-programmed toolboxes are AD/HD – ADD, Concussion-TBI, Memory – MCI, Pain, Sleep, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer Cognition, as well as a listing of all tests and all the rating scales that allows the clinician to configure a patient assessment according to their unique condition (CPT 96118, 96101, 96119, 96102, 96120, 96103 depending on administration method and ICD or DSM codes).
